The 1.9.2 update to both The Bible and LDS Books has been released and should be available for updating through either iTunes or the App Store in the next few hours.
Here's a more detailed description of what's changed:
Features Added:
- Auto-scrolling, both tilt-based and timed, is supported in landscape mode. To maximize the reading area, the scrolling toolbar will automatically hide itself. To have it re-appear, just tap on the screen.
- Added a new history window to easily jump back and forth between chapters. It will remember your exact location in the last 50 chapters you've been to. This will make it very easy to jump back and forth among chapters during lessons/sermons, etc. To access the history list, press on the clock icon at the top of a chapter while reading.
- Added ability to cut, copy, and paste individual bookmarks and well as entire folders of bookmarks. To cut, copy, and paste, you need to press on the Edit button in the top toolbar while in the bookmarks area.
- Added ability to rename a bookmark to anything you want. If you later update that bookmark, it will remember your custom name and display the new verse reference as well.
- Added application version number and URL to our website to the About window
- Added settings option to reverse the tilt direction (will make tilting towards you slow down and away from you speed up)
- Added a satin bookmark which is displayed when the application is launched and you are restored to a previous location in a chapter
Bugs Fixed:
- Update the search input window so it looks a lot nicer
- Fixed possible missing search snippets for very long verses
- Updated the auto-scrolling so it's now smoother as well as a few other tweaks
