Italics in header

I noticed that if a title has italics in part of it, it will have the < i >< /i > around the word in italics. like in the january 2010 ensign under "the new gospel principles manual," it says in the heading "The New < i >Gospel Principles< /i > Manual." It doesn't bother me at all and I could care less, but just wanted to throw it out there so it was known.
