LDS Scriptures for iPad Version 4.2 Approved by Apple
Apple has just approved the 4.2 update for the LDS Scriptures for iPad app. Here are the release notes:
Church PDF Files Improvements: All known PDF issues have been fixed.
• All PDFs should now be properly scaled and centered when displayed in either portrait or landscape mode using either single or dual-page display.
• All PDFs have a working table of contents.
• Added Preach My Gospel PDF file (with working table of contents)
• Fixed crash when entering the Youth Materials section
Content Added:
• All talks for April 2010 General Conference
Features Added:
• Ability to automatically download new issues of the Church's magazines. (this now matches the feature in the iPhone and iPod touch app). To adjust your magazine subscriptions log into LDSScripturesApp.com, select Profile, then the Magazines tab and check the magazines you'd like to automatically download new issues of. Each month the new issues will be download into the My Library section of the app when it's refreshed. This doesn't affect already released issues, only new issues - which will now start in June.
Issues Fixed:
• Disabled the night-mode shortcut as it wasn't supposed to be enabled yet.
