I'd like to be able to search the current document without unchecking everything in the Filter. For example, I want to search for the word "peace" in Pres. Eyring's talk because I know it had a concept that I wanted to read again and I've flicked and verse slid my heart out and can't seem to find it. So I do a search (which, BTW, is THE best search engine on any iPhone/Touch app out there) and filter out everything but "General Conference." I'd like to be able to just search the current document. As it is, I have to go through several processes of unchecking volumes just to search the current document only.
I think this would be a great
I think this would be a great option also. Could you just add a top line to the filter documents that is a "Search current document only" and when you check it all other checks go away and when you uncheck the "Search current document only" your old checks come back. I love this app and use it every day. I am also so addicted to what is going on that I have to check your web site a couple times a day to see what is new. Thanks.
The search engine already has
The search engine already has this functionality built into it, but we just need to implement a UI for allowing someone to do it. I was hoping to not need another screen for search filters, but I'd probably need to do so to support this feature. It would probably be some sort of "Search in current chapter/document only" check box.
Great idea to add one more
Great idea to add one more check box in the search filter selections for 'current document only'. Would be the most used filter setting for me.
